Claire Foy and Olivia Colman, who each performed Queen Elizabeth II in “The Crown,” have shared their ideas in regards to the late monarch’s legacy.

Foy spoke to BBC on the Toronto Worldwide Movie Competition on Wednesday, praising the Queen for her life’s work.

“I feel that she was an unbelievable monarch,” she mentioned. “She united individuals and she or he was a large image of continuity and dignity and beauty.”

Foy, who performed the Queen for the primary two seasons of the Netflix sequence, which coated 1947 to 1964, added that she was “honored” to have portrayed her.

“My essential feeling is simply desirous about her as a mom and a grandmother and a great-grandmother, actually,” she mentioned. “I’m very honored to have been a teeny tiny, small a part of her story.”

Colman, who performed the Queen in Seasons 3 and 4, protecting 1964 by 1976, spoke to Selection on the pageant, saying the Queen led her life with dignity.
