ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Payments beginning cornerback Dane Jackson is being evaluated for a neck damage at an area hospital following a scary collision with a teammate throughout Monday night time’s recreation towards the Tennessee Titans.
Jackson has full motion in his extremities, based on the staff, and was getting a CT scan and an X-ray at Erie County Medical Heart.
The inadvertent collision occurred whereas Payments linebacker Tremaine Edmunds was making a second-down sort out on Titans vast receiver Treylon Burks with lower than a minute remaining within the first half. Jackson’s head appeared to snap again after making contact with Edmund’s helmet.
The sport was delayed for almost 10 minutes as staff trainers attended to Jackson, who was shifting his legs. He was then positioned onto a stretcher and brought via the stadium tunnel in an ambulance.
Teammates surrounded Jackson as he was being tended to, with Edmunds remaining close by virtually all the time.
Jackson, a third-year participant who started the season beginning rather than an injured Tre’Davious White, had three tackles Monday and final week recorded an interception within the Payments’ win over the Los Angeles Rams.
Following Jackson’s damage, rookies Christian Benford and Kaiir Elam took over in his place. The rookies had been rotating reverse Jackson to begin the season.
