UN chief condemns lethal assault at DR Congo church – SUCH TV

The UN Secretary Common Antonio Guterres strongly condemned a lethal assault at a church within the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

In an announcement, spokesman of UN Secretary Common Stephane Dujarric stated Guterres has expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved households and the folks and authorities of the DRC.

Antonio Guterres reiterated that the United Nations will proceed to help the Congolese authorities and folks of their efforts to appreciate peace and stability within the east of the nation.

Earlier, not less than 12 civilians have been killed and 50 others injured in a bomb assault throughout a service at a church in Kasindi metropolis of the North Kivu province.
