The Local weather Evaluation for the Southwest (CLIMAS) program is in search of a proficient analysis skilled to assist design, arrange, and conduct utilized local weather analysis in collaboration with this system’s principal investigators and its exterior stakeholders and companions in Arizona and New Mexico. The candidate will take part in and contribute to engaged analysis with a broad vary of researchers and different regional consultants and stakeholders to determine and deal with climate-related considerations associated to modifications in aridity and water availability throughout the area. The best candidate is one who has a sophisticated diploma in meteorology, climatology, hydrology or earth sciences, a powerful curiosity in analysis to unravel societal issues, and thrives in a transdisciplinary analysis setting. They are going to be part of a small cohort of early profession professionals investigating societally related local weather points being addressed by the CLIMAS program. CLIMAS is an inter- and transdisciplinary local weather analysis group primarily based on the College of Arizona, throughout the Arizona Institute for Resilient Environments and Societies (AIRES) program.
