The HRD scientists take part in 2023 Tropical Cyclone Operations and Analysis Discussion board on the Interdepartmental Hurricane Convention was held 7-9 March in Miami. The Working Group for Tropical Cyclone Operations and Analysis, a part of the Interagency Council for Advancing Meteorological Providers, hosts this annual convention to convey collectively the Federal hurricane group: operational forecast facilities; numerical modelers; aerial, ocean, satellite tv for pc, and radar observing teams; and supporting analysis features. These specialists evaluate final 12 months’s challenges, plan operations for the upcoming season, and focus on analysis efforts within the context of operational wants.
